Now I don't really understand what the main flow or point of this photo is. It has nothing to do with the creative concept of the photographer which i have seen much of his previous work and they all have a unique view in them but it's actually because of my own mind.
When i saw this my first though was a turning vampire-A beauty of life slowly becoming a child of the night with the way she is almost holding herself but not from being cold (though it could look that way to others i understand), the drink infront of her (is it wine or blood), the intense stare that hints of a little confusion but quiet strength, and the power chair.
The technique is simple-straight forward, the lighting enhances the focus without forcing you eyes to move to it. It's a full free roaming picture and just plain simple. It caught my attention and made me want to say a few words.
Great work because i love intense and crowded photos of God knows what-but somtimes simple is best-less is more and this one just caught it right to me.
Plus for some reason i see a vampire in the making and that just makes it that much more striking for me as a person.
@thedirectormrevil: ??? awake! There is a girl and a glas of wine! That ´s all - take it... There ar 3 things, that keep am man helthy and strong: red wine, young girls and old enemies...
^^^ "This has nothing to do with Creative Concept of the photographer"???? Da fuck?
Darling, this photo is on my wishlist of things to one day hang on my wall and covet forever.
Here is my critique: The center focus is the wine glass, yet you are drawn and forced to look into her eyes; HARD TO DO, BUT WELL DONE. Especially because she is nude.
The dark and alluring emotion behind her stare makes one wonder if she is in discontent, anger or resentment, or in waiting. I cannot tell if she is the victim, the punisher, or perhaps just a beautiful nude woman in the company of a dark and erotic dominator/dominatrix while he/she explains to the subject, what will happen next.
The simplicity of the framing is perfect. The chair enforces porcelain flesh, while the drawn curtains add a halo above her raven hair. Wonderful balance in my opinion.
I see this image, and it makes me question myself: Do I partake of the wine, or do I wait? Am I allowed to, even? Who is this creature and why can't I seem to escape her eyes? Why am I transfixed on her? Her eyes and lips and curves...I cannot get away from her...
That's my take on it. The rest of the below posted critique was OK, I just don't like his opening statement, and I think the whole "vampire" thing is too overdone for the likes of your artistic and devilish talent

Great work...as always.
