Now this is something. It looks to me more of a concept really than a direct idea. The photography itself is flawless. The location is everything for this shot. The giant space filled with structures simply rotting into the ground around the model, looks marvelous. Her hair hanging down as she sits in a very simple pose. That's important to me because the surrounding is very simple and to have an abstract or provocative pose wouldn't fit here. She relates to the scene overall light skin dark deep hair elegantly coupled with light bricks and deep brown steel. The chains add nothing to the shot for me but only because they are not rusty. The theme I have in mind is the oneness if all things the ancient building bound to the ground and left to decay. While the woman too is a part of each of us bound to the ground in one way or another... left to decay. Great shot! Thanks - SEF
Very strong, emotive image! I really like how her head is down and she looks like she has submitted honestly to her circumstances! I agree with your comments from earlier that this type of shot is VERY different from shooting a "live" BDSM scene- like any other artistic representation- setting up an image to tell a story is far different than a shot of an actual event. To me it is the difference between art and photojournalism.
I'm curious about your legal disclaimer. Is it a requirement to state that based on your location or something you choose to add?
thank you very much its good to see SOME people get the difference between the two things
the disclaimer is a personal arse covering thing i think sometimes we get complacent about things cause "its the net" under australian law its a no no if images depict someone restrained and unable to move freely or withdraw consent etc
I like to think I get the difference! I appreciate when someone's art grabs me and makes me feel something- your work does that!
I am honestly a bit surprised the laws in the US are not more restrictive but then again we have some other laws that seem a bit ridiculous too. Covering one's arse is a good thing!
it always pays to know the ins and outs of some of the things we post USA has restrictions on nipple clamping and pinching in images i think, someone once told me
