Location: Opera House, Sydney Australia

Comments: Strange things happen with me when I am anywhere near the opera house. Bad things mostly but always unexpected usually its strange equipment issues like dust spots or dead batteries, the kinds of things that never happen except at the Opera House. Or like the scouting trip for a shoot that ended up in the middle of a lightning storm over the Opera House and me with no tripod

Well last trip to the city was for some night skyline shots with my new 14-24 mm ultra wide lens, which were not going to be of the opera house at all. So I set the camera up with the 14-24 mm and get it all exactly perfect and just at that moment a fireworks show on the harbour starts that I had no idea was going to happen

So change lenses, change settings and this series was the result
