The square format works so well in this picture, a box containing the model, and the padded cell like background, far from seeming pathetic and sinister looks comforting as if the model is happy in her own space. Her pose reminds me of strobe photography, capturing a single moment in a series which gives the photography a sense of dynamism, movement caught in time. I actually can't think of much wrong with this picture, if I were to be extremely picky, I would maybe have dulled the highlights a bit, but to be honest, it doesn't need it. Kudos to the relaxed and beautiful model too, I love the dynamic that her feet make, drawing the eye out of the picture, it makes her look like she's jumping against the soft wall. A magnificently iconic image which I can see looking magnificent in large format on my, or anyone's' wall, great work from an inspirational artist. Amor et Dolor, Greig McArthur
