*Group Philosophy*The "Respect" that is mentioned in the Group name is about respect for the genre's of Artistic Nude and Artistic Fetish Photography. It's a statement that highlights the fact that tasteful Artistic Nude and Artistic Fetish Photography IS NOT PORNOGRAPHY and that the artists involved deserve respect from the community as the artists they are, it's about respect for the art itself
*What "Respect Us" Is Not Referring Too*For some reason people "Respect" seems to mean:
That you can submit images that have nothing to do with the Group theme and I will still have to accept them
That I will kiss your arse and take your shit, cause apparently some people think that being respectful mean being a fucken doormat
That if you publicly say negative and insulting things about the Group and do it on more than one occasion that I wouldn't remove you
That I am making some sort of personal promise I will be sugary sweet and nice to everyone no matter what
That if your grandmother leaves the site you get to mouth off at me
*Respect The Models Movement*The Group is not HQ for the "Respect The Models" Movement, while I do of course respect Models and encourage others to do so I will take a larger part in the "Respect The Models" campaign when some Models start something like "Appreciate The Photographers"
*Ahhh The Internet*What is it that makes people think that you owe them something simply because they can look at your images ?
There are people I know on this site, Models I have shot with, Photographers I have worked with, some I have travelled with and met with regularly and there are some fans that are real life friends
There are also people I know only from the internet who maybe I exchange comments or have the odd conversation with etc
If I don't know you in real life, if we have never met, never socialised, never shot together, never talked on the phone or even texted, never actually sent an email outside of deviantART and you persist in saying insulting and abusive things to me then don't be shocked and shaken when I block you
*Super Group Subscription*It is almost that time again to renew the Super Group Subscription for
#Respect-UsThe Super Group thing actually has good purpose, other than giving lots of lovely widgets and styling stuff it makes the Group more visible to people when they search for Groups. Thus it makes the art more visible within the community. I will always keep the Super Group Subscription going no matter what
